Customers will be billed the standard monthly access fee based on the chosen price plan A line item will denote that the GSP-1600 phone is "included". Minimum 12-month term. For Latitude customers: upon completion of term, the customer will have the following 4 options: 1) Keep the satellite phone and continue on monthly Latitude or annual Enterprise price plans; 2) Keep the satellite phone and change to a different monthly Latitude or annual Enterprise plan; 3) Discontinue service and return the satellite phone to Globalstar within 14 days, at the customer’s expense, in good working condition as determined by Globalstar. If required to return the satellite phone to good working condition, Globalstar reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of refurbishing up to a maximum of $200;
4) Discontinue service and keep the satellite phone, paying a rental termination charge of $200.
For Latitude customers who deactivate before completion of term, the following rules apply: - If the customer elects to cancel service before the completion of the 12-month term, the customer must return the satellite phone in good working condition at their expense, within 14 day - A $250 Early Termination Penalty applies - The customer will also be charged a one time $200 Phone Return Administration fee. If necessary, to return the phone to good working condition, the customer may be charged the cost of refurbishing the satellite phone to a maximum of $400 If the customer does not return phone, the customer will be charged $600 for failure to return the satellite phone plus a $250 Early Termination Penalty For Latitude customers who downgrade to a lower price plan during their term they will be charged a one-time fee of $500. The customer is responsible for lost or stolen GSP-1600's ($849) and repair costs for damaged phones beyond what is covered by the standard Globalstar 1 year warranty. Additional Conditions: - FREE GSP-1600 Promotion in effect until April 30th, 2007.
- Rental units and refurbished units are not eligible for the FREE GSP-1600 promotion. New GSP-1600s only.
- GSP-1600 warranty in effect for 1 year.
- This promotion is open for new activations only who activate anytime from February 1st to April 30th, 2007.
- All eligible plans will automatically renew at standard terms and rates associated with each plan.
- Bonus minutes do not apply for roaming or long distance.
- For Dealers, products need to be purchased at normal cost. A hardware credit will then be allocated once activation occurs and the appropriate rebate forms are completed and validated.
- PRICE PROTECTION: Customers who purchased a GSP 1600 and activated on the eligible plans, between January 1, 2007 and January 31st, 2007, can call Customer Care to receive a bill credit for $500.
